EDITORIAL:
The comprehensive National Level Conference on RFID Technology has been conducted to asses the needs of this technology in the present scenario of our country .It is also beneficent to the students, teachers and the society.The conference organized technical session.The perticipant discussed RFID Application in Defence R&D in the first half of the conference and the convener of the addressed on the Introduction on RFID Technology and its importance at the begining of the session.In the 2nd half of the conference the following papers were presented discussed by different participants.
1) Active RFID-Technology & Application.
2) Remote Retrival of Guinea Pig's Vital signs through RFID.
3) RFID technology in Internet Security.
4) Application of RFID Technology in tracking mobile equipment.
5) RFID Range & the type of Diode in TAG detector circuit-search of a relationship.
6) Realization of a RFID System and to Study the Channel Effects on its Performance.
7) Radio Frequency Identification: A tutorial, Importance of RFID in Inventory Management.
8) A new optimization technique in the Application of Antenna Problem: bacteria Foraging Algorithm etc.
In the inaugural session Prof Subimal Sen, Vice-Chair-man of West Bengal Higher Education Council,Prof. Siddhartha Dutta, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University also discussed on the importance of RFID in our state. In the 2nd half of the conference Prof. Pradip Narayan Ghosh, Vice-Chancellor of Jadavpur University delivered his lecture regarding the performance of this conference in an undergraduate college like us. He congratulated the college authority and teachers,students and non teaching staff for their great endeavour.
Lastly we like to mention that the conference has tried to increase awareness level of the delegates in dealing with this new technology. The participants demanded that this type of conference should be held annualy . The Organizing Committee has decided to publish the entire proceedings of the conference.Now it is ready to be handover.
